Participants will learn simple recipes step-by-step and practice Hōcąk language throughout the process. This class is a fun and welcoming way to build confidence in the kitchen while strengthening Hōcąk language skills.

Join us for a Hōcąk Lunch and Learn focused on the power and purpose of kinship in hōcąk life. During this session we will explore how kinship connects families, clans, and community, and how these relationships guide identity, roles, and responsibility. Participants will hear cultural knowledge, learn terms, and gain a deeper understanding of kinship patterns that still shape hōcąk ways of relating today. This Lunch and Learn is open to all who want to learn, grow, and strengthen their knowledge of hōcąk culture in an engaging and supportive setting.
Join us for a Paxge Earring Class guided by an experienced instructor! This evening class will take place Nov. 12–13 and Nov. 19 from 5–9 PM at the Ho-Chunk Renaissance classroom. All levels are welcome — come create, learn, and take home your beautiful handmade Paxge earrings! ALL PARTICIPANTS must attend the language portion on the 12th from 4-5!

One-day cooking showdown featuring dishes made with wild game! To enter, each participant must include wild game as a key ingredient. Bring your best recipe, show off your skills, and see who takes home top honors! Cooks can bring their dishes to HoChunk Renaissance as early as 10am.

Join us for a night of Hōcąk Bingo! This event will take place at the Whirling Thunder Gymnasium. Doors will open at 6pm and games are to follow.
Join us for our first Hōcąk Escape Room! Spots are limited and you must sign up to reserve a time and day. Groups must have a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 5. This event will take place at HoChunk Renaissance building.
This years Hoit’e cōnį ňa class will take place at the new HoChunk Renaissance Learning Center and will begin on November 3rd.
