Your sponsorship will not go unrecognized.

As the language and culture program of the Winnebago tribe of Nebraska, we feel it is our responsibility to uphold and educate others about our rich Tribal language and culture. We are a non-profit organization that is committed to community outreach by educating others about our unique heritage. It is also our goal to help minimize stereotypes and build a stronger cultural appreciation around local non-native communities.

Like many other Tribal nations, our language is critically endangered. It is our efforts at HoChunk Renaissance to assure our tribal language is an active and living language for many generations yet to come. We are in a race against time to give our children and grandchildren the opportunity to speak the language of our ancestors. Because our program is a non-profit organization, our funding can be scarce at times, to the point where our team members had to fundraise or pay out of pocket to buy teaching materials for our classrooms. Therefore, we are kindly accepting any donations and/or volunteers who would contribute toward our mission.

Your contribution will be recognized in contributing toward the future of the HoChunk language and investment back into our Tribal community. If you are willing to support our mission, please make your contribution in a check form out to the address noted below. If you are willing to volunteer, we ask you reach out to our program director for further information.

Your sponsorship will not go unrecognized. We will proudly inform others of your contributions and the belief you have in our community through our educational and revitalization efforts. We appreciate the support, and we thank you again for your thoughtfulness and generosity in advance. If you have any questions, feel free to call our program director at (402) 878-4135.
